Nagios Plugin for MySQL

I am about to present the very first public appearance of PalominoDB's nagios plugin for MySQL.  This has been running on several clients in production for about 6 months, so we know it's stable.  The PDF's of the presentation slides and white paper can be downloaded, and are also available from our Community section (presentations and white papers) in the menu bar at the top of each page.  Also you can download the code to use in your Nagios infrastructure.

Join me for the Collaborate presentation at 11 am in room 306A!

Thank you, I have fixed this broken link now.

I have a very underused MySQL database that is not monitored. It is a very important part of my infrastructure and needs to be available. This tool will give me the ability to monitor.

I will fix it and add the whitepaper as well; also the slides are useful as they have real examples.

Your link to version 1.1.2 doesn't work any longer. The directory does have (at v1.1.4) but there's no nicely wrapped versioned archive. You also don't have any docs for it; putting your excellent whitepaper in would help.

Thanks for making such a valuable tool!

Ethan, you may indeed share the presentation pdf ( and the white paper ( to the Nagios Exchange site. Please post both, as some folks learn better from white papers and others from presentations. Make sure to credit PalominoDB.

Hi Sheeri - Nice work!  I just posted this on Nagios Exchange.  See: May we also post a copy of your presentation PDFs on Exchange to share with the greater Nagios community?

The download link is broken. It only returns a 404.

[editor's note -- the download link works now, 4/16]
